Snowshoeing
with Nina.
Another
trip from the Daffern’s Kananaskis Trails blog. This pleasant stroll
through a forested
area west of Bragg Creek served to remind me of two things: firstly,
that every
trip to the mountains doesn’t have to be ball-busting foray into danger
and the
unknown; and secondly, that the social element of being in the
mountains can be
as integral and as rewarding as any other aspect of the trip.
This
new and official snowshoe trail doesn’t offer the spectacular views of
trips
further west, but it is easy, stress-free and without hazard.
Throughout, I
enjoyed Nina’s wonderful company as much as the trip itself.
