TALISMANS What's behind talismans is the fact that they are made in good old magical fashion too. It's not just rabbit's tail or something. People have made them since ancient times to please Gods and attract happiness, health, and similar. So what they were actually doing is that they gave those subjects physical shape so that they can communicate with them easier. When a magician tries to make changes in a real world he draws them in his mind as if they were real. He can go one step further and make this job easier for himself if he can make that wanted situation be able to fit into drawing. It may be any drawing which represents his wishes. They all may really work just fine. Such drawing is almost a talisman, or better said half of it. So you got a picture of the situation you wish to happen. You can make it any way you like it, cut pictures and glue them, print them, draw them, color them. The most important thing again is to play with them, but once finished put them somewhere visible or if you don't want others to see it, hide them. Do you remember pictures found in the caves all around the world where the ancient people draw animals and spears. They were actually drawing the success scenario they wanted. That way they can visualize or imagine how will they do it and prepare themselves for success even better. So this is not something made yesterday really. Then there are Gods. Every picture has two sides isn't it? That's because this is dual world. I suppose everything has two sides here, but sometimes we don't see the other one. Talisman needs to have two sides too. On the other side of the talisman there should be Gods and their representations if it will be called talisman at all. What Gods? All cultures had or have something similar to God or at least some supernatural spirits or beings of some sort. Now, some spirits or energies are responsible for some areas or categories. In Greek mythology you have Gods like Ares, Apolon, Zeus, and every one of them is responsible for just one field of life. That's because the parts of that field are connected stronger between them, they belong to each other. In that manner, there is a field where all the wished-for situations belong to. It doesn't matter which mythology or religion, the point is if it helps. So, again, on the other side should go representations of the energies whose benevolence and kindness you wish to attract. There are, like 10 or so categories and 10 or so planets that belong there. In each of those categories there are other things too, like metals for example. |
