Greg MadduxGregory Alan Maddux (Mad Dog) was born in Texas and drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 1984. He began his career in Chicago but in 1993 moved on to the Atlanta Braves. Though Maddux has never been an overpowering pitcher, he has truly mastered the art of keeping hitters offstride by changing things around and getting that generous outside pitch called a strike. After ten years in Atlanta, Maddux has signed back with the Cubs where he will likely retire. This eight time all-star and four time Cy Young award winner has over 300 wins to his name and is a shoe-in to be inducted into baseball's hall of fame.
