 Abyssinian cats are thought to be
one of the oldest domestic cats. Their name originates from Abyssinia
which is today's Ethiopia. Firstly brought in Europe by English
soldiers returning home. Abyssinian
cats have medium sized, muscular body, long legs, long
and tapering tail and bigger ears then other cats. They
belong into shorthaired cats. Males are bigger than females just like
all other cats and females are more active. Because of their short hair
they don't require a lot of brushing. Once in 7 days should be enough.
Their colors vary from light brown to dark brown or even black.
Abyssinian cats are thought to be one of the most intelligent cats
and also one which is very loyal to his owner. Very quiet but
playful, friendly, active and curious. Abyssinians don't
hate water as much as other cats.
Most cats are happiest coddling but these cats like to play. |
