Why use a software application to retrieve your Podcasts?

Think of it as "TiVo for audio files"... This is basically a way to automate the retrieval of an audio program at regular intervals and have it automatically downloaded to your personal computer. It works for Windows, Macintosh and Linux desktop machines. The iPodder software also has the optional added feature of automatically updating an iPod MP3 player with subscribed entries as soon as they are downloaded using the iTunes software application.
