Justin and Joshua Lightstar battle over who's in command.
"That's enough!"exclaimed Jennifer. "Why don't you try using words instead of swords to solve your problems.?"  Joshua angrily leaves the castle.  "If you push him to hard, Josh will end up defying you just to show you he can," says Jennifer.  Baron Dark's Manor near the edge of the city.
"Joshua, my dear friend," says the Baron.  Trying to trick Joshua, the Baron says, "Your brother is older, but that gives him no right to a throne that belongs to you." 
After sneaking back to Lightstar Castle, the power-hungry Baron convinces Joshua to open the valt doors of the chamber where the Lightstar Crystal is keep.  Scanning the retina of Joshua's green eye allows the security  vault to open.  "It's glorious!" exclamed the Baron.  Inside the chamber, the Lightstar Crystal is kept safe by a cone of impenetrable energy.  "Whoever rules the crystal, rules the world!" the Baron shouts to Joshua as he overpowers him.  "Baron Dark, you traitor!" Justin says in disbelief.  The Lightstar Crystal is broken in half as Justin and Baron Dark scuffle over it.  When the crystal was broken, it bestowed great powers on everyone caught in the massive explosion of energy! "It can't be...Yet I live!" the Baron gasps with fear and amazement as he discovers his new skeleton form.  Jennifer and Justin discover that Joshua had also taken on a new form.  Justin, code-named Lightstar, discovers his new power perfeclty suited to his fiery temper.  Because she has the ability to fly, and the vision & bravery of an eagle, Jennifer's code name is Talyn.  Living with a torn, haunted spirit, Joshua-code-named Grimskull-is able to move through the mysterious realm of the shadow world.  Uncle Ursak, code-named Gruardian, uses his battle-honed skills to watch over the super-powered siblings.
Lightstar...Grimskull...Talyn...Guardian...Defenders of the light.  Keepers of the crystal, standing strong against Baron Dark's apocalyptic ambition.  They are the last hope for a world in chaos.  They  seek to heal that which has been broken.  They fight to restore order to a world out balance.
