Brothers on January 24, 2005, we received word from the IUEC that Otis has agreed that a 5 wire single tap splice is a violation of the agreement. Otis agrees that the ends will be removed and the connections will be made in the field.

DUES INCREASE

IUEC Local 45 Union Dues Effective 2nd Quarter April 01, 2008

Mechanic In Charge = $620.00 quarterly

Mechanic = $570.00 quarterly

4th Year Apprentice = $505.00 quarterly

3rd Year Apprentice = $475.00 quarterly

Helper = $475.00 quarterly

2nd Year Apprentice = $455.00 quarterly

1st Year Apprentice = $420.00 quarterly

When a member is elevated to Temporary Mechanic for one week (40 hours) or more in any calendar month, in addition to their normal quarterly dues, they shall also pay the difference between their monthly dues and a mechanics’ monthly dues.

Probationary Helper $60.00 monthly

Probationary Apprentice $60.00 monthly

The above calculations have been made in accordance with the Local 45 dues formula and the Jan. 01, 2008 Wage and Benefit increases.
