Ok, so I was looking through an old yearbook to see if there were any pictures of bands or anything like that in it. Curtis C. found old pics of 60's garage bands in some, so I figured it was worth a shot. This one was completely worthless in that department (but if you want to know important stuff like what the students thought about Dirty Dancing, it's got that covered), but it gave me an idea. Since we don't have pictures of a lot of bands from back in the day, here's the best I can do. This will probably get me killed (most of those shown here would probably consider it a justifiable homicide), but I give you the world of rock, according to a 1989 yearbook. By that, I mean, about 60% of the Zen Bastards, 80% of Toxic Youth (Corey, you lucked out), 100% of Smaug, etc., probably to the mutual embarrassment of everyone involved. If you were in a band and not pictured in this yearbook, consider this your lucky day. I knew that stupid yearbook had to be good for something.

The History of Rock (According to a 1989 LHS Yearbook)

The Zen Bastards L to R: Wade Pellegram, Ashley Harris, Marvin "Huck" Sawyer, and Krishna Kasturi. I didn't know Huck's real name was Marvin. Krishna was also in Bubba Daddy and Santeria.

Toxic Youth L to R: Brian Fruge, Scott Emmer, Craig Guillory, and Chris Jaques. Brian was also in Bubba Daddy and Urbosleeks, Scott was in Sanpakus and many other bands. Craig also played with Balfa Toujours.

Smaug L to R: Beth Waggoner, Steve Kerin, and Danny Devillier. Beth was also in Kalafka. Steve is with Black Bayou Construktion. Danny played with The Blind Cavefish, Terrence Simien, and many, many others.

The Blind Cavefish L to R: Thomas Couvillion, Scott Olivier, and Jon Jenkins. Jon almost lucked out because he wasn't shown in the regular student listing, but there was the below photo somewhere in the front. Thomas was also in Full Hank and Zenbilly. Scott was later in One Hand Clapping and the Kevin Sekhani band.
