Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst Episode IV is an expansion pack for 5the recently released Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst. Episode IV expands on the story that appears in Episodes I & II (the story that appeared on the Gamecube and XBox versions and in the original release of Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst). It introduces new areas to explore, new creatures to battle against and new weapons,shields and armour for you to find.

The babelfish translated story goes something like this:

' On the ???? track where the search by pioneer 2 continues.
The meteorite approaches near planetary ????. Result of tracked calculation,
There is no, it was danger of meteorite collision expectation.

However as for situation sudden change. Suddenly, it was shot from the earth's surface
Due to the light of puzzle, falls does not have the husband who the meteorite which
To fall to the ???? earth's surface, collision.

... And, now, the situation of this cause obscurity
In order that you investigate, new order in ?????! '

The new areas will revolve around a crater that is discovered by Pioneer 2 before entering into a Underground Desert. Here is the official artwork to give you an idea of what you will experience:


We also have some artwork of a couple of the new creatures you will be fighting against. I am not yet aware of what these creatures will be called but I imagine that the creature on four legs will attack like the Delbiters that are in Seabed on Episode II and the rock-like creatures to be like the Booma's/Bartles in Forest on Episode I.
